'round here...

Next weekend is Memorial Day, can you believe it? Our May has been the rainiest (is that a word?) I can remember. I'm definitely ready for nice weather so we can spend some quality time outside.

Here's what has been happening around our house:

Ian started rice cereal, but still isn't sleeping more than about 5 hours at a time. He's smiling and giggling all of the time. He is SO close to rolling over, he keeps getting stuck on that arm. He's "talking" all of the time and just a wonderful baby.


Claire loves dressing herself. She actually likes doing everything herself - peeling bananas, brushing her teeth, putting her shoes and socks on and off, on and off, on and off. It's so amazing watching children gain a sense of independence.

Lots of bouncing.


Our family did Race for the Cure and it was an awesome Saturday morning! Next year Madison and I are going to run it!

We took the kids to the circus last weekend and had amazing seats. Madison said she loves having a little sister so she can still go to things like the circus and Sesame Street Live. :) Claire was mezmorized by it all and Ian was an angel.

Sidenote: I have also had Claire's bangs trimmed since these pictures. HA! We are trying really hard to grow them out for Uncle Ty's wedding, but it's getting tricky since she doesn't like having them pulled back.
