How many times have you told a cute story about your kids to a parent, grandparent friend, or co-worker and they quickly reply with "I hope you are writing these things down!" Well, I haven't been and I hate that. I keep thinking that I will remember and get all the cute things down on paper one of these days and it hasn't happened. Claire is now two and Eric and I laugh about how her language is developing and all the great things her little mind is coming up with.
So...I am going to take this post and write some of the things down that I never want to forget.
"Brother Man" (her name for Ian)
"swimming soup" (instead of suit)
"boppers" (diapers or slippers)
"Need it, sunglasses Mommy!"
"Friends, there it is!" (as we approach daycare everyday)
"DADDY! Marker, only color paper!!!" (with super grumpy look as she finds Eric's tattoos.)
"Claire help, Claire help!" (she wants to help with everything)
"Carry you Mommy!" (she still hasn't figured out you, me, I...so instead of saying 'Carry me mommy" she says you and it's so darn cute)
"Look birds Mommy" "Look schoolbus Mommy" "Look lawnmower Mommy" "Look firetruck Mommy" "Look sailboat Mommy" "Look airplane Mommy" "Look waterfall Mommy" (Everday when we get in the car she tells me what we will be looking for on her way to daycare, these are just the most popular.)
I feel like I am forgetting some, so I may come back and edit this post to keep all my favorites in one place. But this is a good start.
