Madison has been asking for a few weeks if Claire can stay home during the day with her for a day instead of going to daycare. So today we said yes and after going through all the lists of contact numbers, poison control, lunch time, nap time, potty time, careful on the stairs, keep your phone on, don't use the stove, watch her at all times, etc...we left for work! The girls were super excited and finger painting was set up at the kitchen table before I even got all the way out of the driveway.
I got to work and got a text message from Mads, "Claire keeps saying 'snake hiding...outside sissy! Let's go get him!' to trick me into taking her outside!" HA! Oh man, I just cracked up.
Claire absolutely loves being outside and I love that about her. I'm sure the girls will have a great day today and I can't wait to hear all about it when we get home.
