Every girl needs good friends. I have truly been blessed in life with having the greatest friends a girl could have. We have laughed together, cried together, loved each other, and nearly killed each other (yes, you Heidi!). Distance has kept us apart over the years, but it's amazing to me when we do get together how it seems like we all still live minutes apart. I am truly looking forward to Katie's August wedding in San Diego for a reunion. I am leaving the kiddos behind for some much needed girl time.
Today when I dropped the kids off at daycare, Claire's class was outside having water day. She quickly joined them and after I took Ian inside, I walked back outside and went and watched Claire with her little friends. It made my heart happy to watch these carefree little girls laughing and splashing in the water together! I know they will all go to different schools when they grow up, but it makes me excited for my daughter to be developing these special bonds that girls have.
