Great Saturday.

It's 12:44am and I cannot believe that I am awake with engergy to get caught up on posting pictures, checking emails, reading my favorite blogs, and just having some me time. Eric is helping a friend with a computer job, Madison has been with her grandparents this week, and both little kids are sound asleep. Ahhhhh! (I may or may not have even had a bowl of red velvet icecream!) HA!

This is the first weekend we have not had plans for quite some time and we are enjoying every free minute. Thanks to Groupon, we had our house cleaned last week...first time ever and it was AWESOME! So the house is spotless and I simply feel like nothing is tying me down or needs to be done.

We have been playing outside with the hose and the new water table. *Sidenote* -if you ever get a water/sand table, skip the sand and just add water. It seems fun at first, but the mixture is dirty and sand comes in to the house, garage, bathtub, washer and dryer, etc! Water dries and it's awesome.

My sister-in-law called this evening and invited us down for an impromptu pizza dinner with the Miller's and we spent the evening in their back yard. Claire is officially old enough to go play in the woods with her big boy cousins and you could tell she felt very grown up. Aunt Danielle is officially a doctor and met Ian for the first time! Congratulations!

I took this picture this morning and it just makes me smile. Claire says, "Brother, get in!"

Good night! Tomorrow we are going to pick peaches and strawberries. I love summer.
